Payment Voided on payment terminal

Payment Voided on payment terminal

Solution:

If the payment is voided on the payment terminal and not on the Terminal or in Back Office. You will need to do the following:

  • Open or Re-open the order that is associated to the payment that was voided.
  • Once the order is open, go to payments, and you must void that payment on the terminal.

  • If you only void the payment on the payment terminal, and you don't void it on the order itself on the terminal, it will cause an error in the system which will possibly not let you close the store until this is taken care of.

  • You can always go into Back Office to look up the order ID of the payment you voided, and then search for it under Re-Open on the terminal itself.
