Items

In this section, the user is brought to a drop down menu that will list either all of the items or broken down by recipe group. The check boxes can provide you with further info (Full info, which gives you the menu name, printers and KVD’s, or the other check boxes to leave these out individually.)

This also has a button to create new items or new combos. This is chosen after the user selects new and then chooses one or the other in the drop down menu.

  1. Name: Here the user puts the name of the item.
  2. Announcer name: What the menu item will appear as on the KVD and the printers. If you want it to be the same as the item name, just leave announcer name blank and it will auto-populate.
  3. Sales Group: This is used for sales reports and organization of the items.
  4. Description: The user can put a description of the item, but isn’t required to have one.
  5. Availability: Field where the stock/on hand is entered for each item. If this is left blank, then nothing will be kept track of or it will allow Inventory to do the tracking. It is not required that this field be filled out.
  6. If a number is entered, each time that menu item is sold, it will deduct one for the number entered until 0 and then will not let that item be sold again until the number has been changed.
  7. Calories: This is not required to have, but the user can enter the calorie count for the item and it will appear on the receipts.
  8. Loyalty Points Earned/Needed: These two fields is where the user enters the amount of loyalty points earned by the item or points needed to purchase. If the user wishes to use these loyalty fields, the box needs to be checked.
  9. The customer can decide that the item can earn points but not have it available for loyalty point redemption or vice versa.
  10. Barcode: Here a barcode number can be manually entered.

Once the item is saved, additional buttons will be avaiable to select.

  2. Modifiers - assigned modifiers to the item (ie. meat temp, add ons, dressings)
  3. Printers - printers the item is assigned to
