This section lists all of the combo groups. Combo groups are the different options that are available in a combo. These would consist of item options.
IE: If the customer has a combo that is called “2 for $20” that offers one appetizer, two entrees and two desserts, you would create a combo group that contains all of the appetizers, one for entrees, and another for desserts.
All of the items that go into a combo group are existing items. The items need to be added to a menu. Usually a "Combos Only" menu is created and disabled that contains all the items that are part of combos.
Once the user creates a new combo group, input the name of the combo group, input a description and select save. Once saved, the ability to add the items to the combo group will appear.
First select the menu that the item is on in the dropdown menu; then select the item. There are several fields following the item Additional price is there in case the cost of the item in the combo is more than it is on the regular menu.
After that is the tax field. There is going to be a tax field for each type of tax the store has. If they only have sales tax, then only one field will be there. If there is a sales tax and a separate liquor tax there will be two fields appropriately named and so on. If there is a specific tax amount for the item in the combo, this is where it is entered. If the set tax for the store is desired, leave the field blank. To make the items tax exempt, input a “0” there.
Once all desired info has been input, select add. If there needs to be changes made to a item that is already added, the user can make said change and select save or if changes need to be made to more than one item at a time, the changes can be made and then select the save all button at the bottom of the list.
Each item in the combo group can be deleted by selecting delete or their order moved by use of the up and down arrow in the last column on the right of each item.
