DejaVoo EMV Setup
Follow the steps below to set up a Dejavoo Emv.
1. When configuring a Dejavoo terminal the first thing you should do is remote into the terminal, and ask the customer which IP address to use and the DHCP range if the customer does not know "ping" an IP to set the device to.
- Run a Command Prompt and ping the IP start with .99 and go below, if you get no response from the IP then it is not in use and you can write it down.
2. After getting an IP run an ipconfig and write down the subnet mask and gateway. This information should be given to the merchant processor to input in their terminal configuration portal.
3. To set up Static IP parameters on the Dejavoo EMV follow these instructions.
4. In the image provided, a setup has already been completed with the parameters already added. The important ones to add at
- Local_Settings_IP_Static_IP_Address,
- Local_Settings_IP_Subnet_Mask,
- Local_Settings_IP_Default_Gateway,
- Local_Settings_DNS_Server_
5. Additionally they will need to set the SSL communication type the second image included is how it should be configured. (This step should be completed by the processor through their portal. We have no access to this resource and thus any questions would need to be directed to Dejavoo or their in-house technician)
6. After inputting the information, associate the payment terminals with the POS terminal and test the credit payment option. If the payment goes through successfully, close the store.
7. Make sure the Authentication Key is the same on the EMV and on Back Office under Setup>Payment Terminal.
Example:
8. Configuration in BOH

Fill in the information, name, brand, IP, and port, If you are going to configure through Cloud, the configuration will be IP: spinpos.net and port 443, but if you are going to configure through the IP, you must use the port 8443 and the IP of the EMV.
This configuration is for Dejavoo QD2
**If using an IP address ie 192.168.10.1, Port to be used is 8443.
