Back Office

Splash page first displayed upon login.

This is the accessed through Ordyx.com. This is how most changes are made to our customers’ account and menus and how the user accesses the database holding the sales and other info. This information is held for 5 years. Beyond that, it is deleted.

Only those customer employees that have been given a role or the individual permission to access this. For someone logging in for the first time, there are a couple of steps to setting up their credentials.

The first thing that needs to be done is the customer has to input a valid email address into the staff file for the employee the user want to give access to. If the staff file is a new one, there is a field to enter in whatever password the employee wants for their Back Office access. But that field is only there when the staff file is being created. Next the user assigns the appropriate role to the employee’s staff file. From there the employee goes to the website and selects Login.

It will bring the user to a page where they can input their user name (which is the valid email address that was put into the staff file) and their personal password. Under this is a link for “Forgot Password”. The user selects this link and then enters in their email address and submits it. This will generate and send a temporary password to their personal email. The customer should look carefully for this email because sometimes it gets sent to the spam/junk folder.

Once the user has retrieved this password, the user logs in with it and their email address and the user is first taken to a page where the user is required to accept the terms in order to move forward. If the user does not, then the user is refused Back Office access. This only has to be accepted once and then the user is taken to a page to create their own password.

If the user ever has to create a new password, this is how it is done, but from that point on, the user is taken directly to the password creation page. If the user still knows their password, they can change it in their staff file by selecting the “Password” button towards the bottom of the page, entering the current password then entering the new password twice. Once this is created, we are unable to retrieve the password, and the user will have to once again use "Forgot Your Password".
